Ingredients:
- 2 oz Puerto Rican White Rum (Don Q or Bacardí)
- 3 oz Pineapple Juice (fresh is always better!)
- 1 oz Coconut Cream (Coco López is the classic choice)
- ½ oz Heavy Cream (optional, for extra creaminess)
- 1 cup of Ice
- Garnish: A fresh pineapple wedge and a maraschino cherry.
Method:
- Combine: In a blender, add the rum, pineapple juice, coconut cream, and heavy cream.
- Chill: Add the ice.
- Blend: Pulse until the mixture is smooth and has a frappe-like consistency.
- Pour: Serve in a tall «Poco Grande» glass or a hollowed-out pineapple if you’re feeling extra tropical!
- The Finishing Touch: Garnish with the pineapple wedge and the cherry. Don’t forget the little umbrella!
