I’ve always dreamed of sharing the traditional recipes of Puerto Rico, and now, the vibrant flavors of Indonesia. I’m not a professional chef—just a regular guy who loves food, the stories tucked away in every dish, and playing video games.
The coquí and the Puerto Rican parrot are our symbols and culture; the coquí is a small frog that, when it sings with a whistle, «coqui coqui, while our flora is the flor de maga and the flamboyan tree. t is a tradition for Puerto Ricans to applaud when the plane lands on the island. For generations, this has been our way of thanking God and celebrating that we’ve arrived safely home to our beloved land.
From my family’s Puerto Rican favorites like Mofongo, Alcapurrias, and Arroz con Gandules to the incredible flavors I discovered in Indonesia, thanks to my special girl—like Satay, Nasi Goreng, and Selat Solo—food has always been my greatest joy. What started as a class project has grown into my personal space to share my love for cooking, culture, and connection.
A Labor of Love
This website is dedicated to my mother, my sister, my dad, and Mami Tita. A special dedication goes to Mama Lely—I will forever miss your cooking from heaven. You are the people who inspired my love for food, and I carry your heritage in every meal I make.
