Jugo de piña

Nothing beats the refreshing taste of freshly made Pineapple Juice. In our family, this isn’t just a drink—it’s a tradition. This was my grandma’s absolute favorite drink, and I remember her always having a cold pitcher ready to beat the tropical heat. It’s sweet, tart, and tastes like home.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Fresh Pineapple (peeled and cored)
  • 4 cups of Water
  • Sugar or Honey (to taste)
  • A squeeze of Lime (optional, for a little zing)
  • Ice

Methods:

  • Prep the Fruit: Cut your pineapple into small chunks.
  • Blend: Place the pineapple chunks and water into a blender. Blend on high until the mixture is as smooth as possible.
  • Strain: Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher to remove the pulp for a smooth juice.
  • Sweeten: Stir in your sugar or honey until it’s just the way you like it.
  • Chill: Serve over plenty of ice.
